el foro Humanista de Latinoamerico
a fantastic Trufi this morning (just the driver’s exeptionally clear spanish and myself) which combined with mutual curiosity led to real great conversation. extremely valuable as a lingual confidence as I geared up for a long day of discussion and debate.
as I geared up to discuss / debate peace, alt economics, humanismo and art’s role in it all (being on the populist arts panel)
ended with a much needed group meditation (exhausted) and a round of embrace/hug everyone else in the room, nothing better than peace&love.
now to further chill out with live bossa jazz.
meeting evo

Expecting La Paz to stall tomorrow because of the general strike for public transportation workers.
Hoping to get in on the protest action tomorrow without risking serious injury.
Wondering what impact the lack of taxis, trufis and the like tomorrow in La Paz will have upon emissions, smog and the night-time sky.
… as the entire city prepares to be forcibly shut down tomorrow.
copacabana
was playing with llamas and donkeys on isla del sol (“what a view …”) After the trucha, and the pleasant drive back to La Paz, now hard at work as a photog.

one status update expressing a want for great coffee in a strange city results in countless responses and snowballs into A Big Thing, not too mention, also, a great albeit brief listing of coffee places all over canada.

interesting words on what makes an object social, I.e it’s not about the wine but rather the conversations that happen under its influence. Also on the nature of what is a geek
